Methods of Training Delivery
When your organization is thinking about delivering training to any audience, there's much to consider. On the surface, a successful training session may look simple, but that's only if it's been planned properly. So, even if you're bringing Intulogy in only to deliver your training session, we're very likely to engage you and ask about what you've planned. We do that because we want you to be successful, and have your training session be as effective as it can possibly be.
Logistics of a Training Delivery Session
There are a number of items to consider when your organization begins planning a training session for a group of people. How well you consider these items can determine how well your training session succeeds.
It's important to consider the behind the scenes items that happen before the training session occurs, like:
In addition, there are other details to consider, such as the type of training your organization wants to utilize. Each of the following learning methods can dictate a different level of involvement for a facilitator. Because, even if you're using eLearning, if it's going to occur in a classroom and cover a complex topic, you may want someone on hand to help guide participants through challenging sections.
The Course Management Plan
The training implementation phase begins when your first participant starts training, and it only ends when your final participant completes the course. The main training delivery phase might be as short as a month for a self-paced CBT/WBT module; however, it may take several months if you provide instructor-led training in a classroom or online learning setting. In either case, the training implementation phase is likely to extend beyond the initial delivery phase, perhaps becoming part of training for new hires.
There are often many administrative tasks related to the implementation phase. Courses need to be announced, supervisors must enroll participants, training spaces (physical or virtual) need to be prepared, materials printed, and trainers scheduled. A course management plan creates a checklist to ensure all these administrative details are addressed on-time. Intulogy can help you with the development and execution of your course management plan. Additionally, if your company has a learning management system, we can help you integrate your course with that system.
